‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah and mentions that are both orphaned (one, Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk, is a paternal orphan and the other, Surur al-Saltanah, is a maternal orphan) and lonely, but he is grateful to have Sururr. ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah and tells her that he is sending her a shawl, a turquoise ring, a pair of diamond earrings, and a turbah that he has blessed in Khurasan; he had purchased them all in Mashhad.
